Kidzport

Gospel Light Kids in Action

What is Kidzport? To put it simply, Kidzport is a place where children can go to be cared for, nurtured, and taught; where they can feel safe and loved, and come to realize that they are children not only of their parents, but children of God, and that God loves them, and loves them unconditionally.


The primary Kidzport ministry takes place during Sunday morning Worship. Children will begin the service with their families, sharing worship time, testimonies, and special events. When it is time for the Word to be shared, children will be dismissed.

Nursery Ages 6 months- 2 years

Our youngest groups gets cared for in a secure environment by experienced caregivers, who interact with each child. The children will be tended to, engaged and encouraged.

Junior Level Children 3 to 6 years old

As the children grow, so does the level of ministry they are exposed to. In this group, children will be taught Biblical lessons from resources specifically developed for their age. Caregivers will engage children with stories, songs, videos, arts & crafts and discussions relating to the lessons taught.


Upper Level Children 7 to 9 years old.

At this level, the children are treated like the intelligent, eager, and capable people they are. This is not babysitting! Each week, this level will work from an age-appropriate Biblical message specifically developed by Pastor Mike and our staff. These messages are tied into the sermons delivered in the church's Sunday Worship Service, so parents will be able to have meaningful discussions with their children about the message. The children will also be exposed to principles of leadership and responsibility, and encouraged to participate in meaninful discussion.


Sunday School

For every Sunday Morning when Scool of Leaders is in session, Kidzport will be open at 9:30 AM for Sunday School. This session provides fun bible lessons and conversations, games and videos, and allows parents the freedom to attend the School of Leaders while their children are being cared for. Kidzport staff will bring the children to the sanctuary to join their families for Worship Service.

Children's Cell Group Network

The Sunday Kidzport groups are tied into GLCCKidz, Gospel Light's Children's network. Our Children's Cell Groups reinforce the lessons taught in Kidzport. Cell groups are the primary outreach for all children. Children from our Pre-Teen Cell are taught to assist with the Kidzport program as part of their ongoing leadership training, which is in line with Gospel Light's goal of Every Believer a Leader.

Hallelujah Night - each year on October 31. A Christ-centered evening of fun, games, and entertainment.

Christmas Cantata - Children display their talents in a special Christmas show.

Egg Hunt On Resurrection Sunday.

KidzTrek - a day-long adventure where the children have a real encounter with God.

We also take day trips throughout the year and plan other activities and outreaches.
